I was too unsure with a printed chain when I designed this, so I went with gears.
The model in the pictures is still with metal screws, but i updated the files so all of you can have fun with this model and are not meant to search for metric bolts (greetings to U.S. i.e. i got you). An alternative frontplate with english lettering is now also included.
Make sure to print "springsupport B" once like the file and another time mirrored.
The valvelifters need to be glued into the valvesprings like:
- stick valvelifter through enginehead
- put glue on the end of the valvelifter
- counter it with the valvespring from above
The valvesprings are the finest parts on this model and very sensitive for removing supports so I'll recommend you print these first, before getting frustrated because these might be the only parts missing in your model. You can also have a look in the pictures for timing the camshafts so your model works like a real enginecylinder.
I hope you enjoy it! :)
