The original "front-set_steering-arm" of the Explorer MK1 has several disadvantages:
- Large tolerances causing steering wobble / or in some cases too much frichtion
- Excessively long steering arm for the servo, resulting in collision during steering
While there's an existing remix that improves the standard arm, I wanted to avoid reprinting numerous parts. Therefore, I decided to design a solution that better suits my preferences. I discovered that this small part is more than strong enough for the task.
Benefits of This Modification
If you're looking for:
- Better tolerance in the steering arm
- Reduced friction in the steering mechanism
- No collision between the steering arm and its support
Then I highly recommend printing these parts.
