This is a protective cap for standard 13 pin trailer electrical connectors (ISO 11446-1). When your trailer or caravan is disconnected, the exposed socket is open to rain, road grime, dust, and salt, all of which lead to corrosion and unreliable connections over time. This cap seals the socket and keeps it clean, so your lights and electrics stay working when you need them.
Three versions are included so you can pick what suits you best:
Smooth version, a clean minimal look that prints fastest.
Knurled version, with a textured grip around the edge that makes it much easier to twist on and off, especially with cold or gloved hands.
Magnetic version, designed with a pocket for two 10x5mm magnets so you can attach it to any metal piece.
If you have a twist connector, print the version with NO Middle (NOMID)
Printing notes: no supports are needed unless you print the magnetic version.. Because this part lives outdoors and takes sun, heat, and weather, I recommend printing in ASA for the best UV and temperature resistance, or PETG as a bare minimum.
If you tow a caravan, trailer, or boat, this is a cheap and practical upgrade that protects your connector for years. Prints, comments, and remixes are always welcome.
